Ishtar Moisturisers at a Glance

Moisturisers aren't necessarily the most exciting part of any skincare stash. In fact, people with oily and congestion-prone skin may believe a moisturiser is the work of a devil when it causes congestion and breaks them out. A great moisturiser feels like you have nothing on the skin. At the same time, the skin is well-hydrated and super comfortable. Find your new favourite from our line-up based on your skin type and what you would like to treat.

Azeloyl 10 Moisturiser

What does it do?

Azeloyl 10 Moisturiser gently exfoliates the skin, promotes dermal equilibrium, brightens, and increases the elasticity and firmness of the skin without causing irritation.

Star ingredient:

10% Azeloyl Glycine, which is a gentle exfoliant derived from Azelaic acid. Azelaic acid is used in skincare products to treat hyperpigmentation in acne prone skin. Azeloyl Glycine has the same properties. However, because it binds the acid molecule with the amino acid Glycine, it also soothes and moisturises the skin.

Who is it for?

Normal, oily, and combination skin types. It is especially suitable for sensitive skin prone to breakouts.

Hydraplus Cream

What does it do?

Hydraplus Cream improves the skin's natural Hyaluronic acid levels and natural barrier function.

Star ingredients:

5% Oat Beta Glucan is a skin-soothing ingredient which boosts the skin's natural barrier function and protects the skin against the external stressors. It acts as a humectant and prevents moisture loss. 5% Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stable form of vitamin C) is a potent antioxidant. MSM boosts skin repair, while organic Chamomile and Calendula calm and hydrate.

Who is it for?

Normal, dry, and sensitive skin types.

Time CODE

What does it do?

Our Time CODE moisturiser combines Copper PCA with Ectoin to deliver a Copper Optimised Dermal Extremolyte (C.O.D.E.). Extremolytes are molecules that stabilise molecular structures like membranes. For an excellent skin rejuvenating combo, combine Time CODE with one of our Bioactive Retinol serums.

Star ingredients:

Copper PCA acts as a “super antioxidant.” It helps to diminish redness, improves elasticity, and regulates the moisture in the skin.Ectoin is an amino acid derivative. It works by creating a protective hydro complex to improve hydration and skin barrier function. Ectoin also reduces inflammation and protects against UVA photoaging.

Plant Phytosterols (include campesterol, sitosterol, and stigmasterol) help maintain a healthy skin barrier, soothe the skin, and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Hydrolised Glycosaminoglycans are similar to the natural Glycosaminoglycans found in the skin's extracellular matrix. Their main benefit is they hydrate and plump up the skin.

Who is it for?

Time CODE is suitable for all skin types who would like to target the signs of aging.

Multi-Ceramide Concentrate

What does it do?

Multi-Ceramide Concentrate is a light fluid that can be used on its own as a moisturiser or layered with other products as a serum. It has a skin compatible ph of 5 - 5.5. It replenishes, repairs, and protects the skin's moisture barrier.

Star ingredients:

Plant-derived, but skin-identical Phytosterol complex (includes stigmasterol, cholesterol, beta-sitosterol, and campesterol). Sterols are a vital part of the skin's barrier. When used in skincare products, they moisturise, soothe irritation, improve hyperpigmentation, and reduce the roughness of the skin.

A complex of isolated plant-derived ceramides (includes Ceramide 3, 3-II, 6, and 6-II). Ceramides are lipids found in the skin cell membranes and another essential part of the skin's lipid barrier. When used topically, they protect the skin, improve the structure of collagen and elastin, and smooth mimic wrinkles.

Glycosphingolipids in our formula are sourced from rice. They stimulate fibroblasts, soften, soothe, and moisturise the skin, as well as help reduce hyperpigmentation.

Organic White Tea extract contains high levels of antioxidant compounds known for its skin benefits.

Who is it for?

Multi-Ceramide Concentrate is formulated to be used by all skin types, from oily to dry. It is especially good if the moisture barrier has been compromised.

Ultralase 5 Mandelic acid Moisturiser

What does it do?

Ultralase 5 Mandelic acid Moisturiser is a light moisturiser that gently exfoliates and refines the skin. It has a pH of 3.5.

Star ingredients:

5% Mandelic acid is an Alpha-Hydroxy acid that stimulates deep cell renewal. It refines the skin texture and, over time, helps fade hyperpigmentation. Because of its antibacterial and uniquely antibiotics properties, Mandelic acid is a great ingredient for adult acne sufferers.

Squalane is a natural component of the skin with a skin-identical lipid structure. It also has antioxidant properties and can be used by all skin types.
